Thanks to my laziness, I should've posted about the things I find unnecessary earlier. Now I've forgotten all my points. Well except one. Armpit hair hahahahahhaa. Yeah I find it damn unnecessary and I don't understand why people like to keep it. You spend slightly more than a decade without it, looking clean and stuff and then it makes its debut on your body. Gross. And to those guys who insist that it makes you 'manlier' and think those without it are on the feminine side, think again. If your manliness hangs on a clump of hair, don't you think you  have a problem here?

ANYWAY, moving on to why I'm here now. Money. One thing that hogs the minds of many who are and have served national service. You officers are an exclusion muahahaha. If you are one, go away, you won't understand our plight. Ok I'm joking. How much you manage your expenses if solely up to you though. In my case, the moment I receive that chunk of digital money (since your pay is credited to your bank account first), $280 is already gone. $200 goes to savings, $80 goes to communication bills. Yeah, I'm paying not only for my personal phone use, but internet and fixed line use as well. That means I'm technically in control of whatever form (except verbal of course) of communication there is in the home. That leaves the remainder for transport, food and miscellaneous things.

SO, due to all this, I do have this bit of reluctance of lending money to friends. I do give in most of the time as I don't have the heart to say no. Yes, this does occur at a fairly regular rate. And the time it usually takes for me to get it back, don't even ask. That's why from today onwards I've vowed not to lend any more than $10. I'm far from being considered as affluent so I hope they can understand.

Now to get my abs back.

Ok, fetishes. Hmmmm I'm afraid that I may be using this word wrongly on a major scale so I'll switch to another one: obsession. All of us do obsess over something. Cars, women, and even unexpected things like poles. In my childhood my obsessions were pretty standard like any other boy out there, mostly mechanical stuff. I had a large miniature car collection, train sets and those passing-fad Tamiya cars and Beyblade spinning tops. I remember filling up my room with train tracks to the extent that anyone who entered it had to tiptoe around. And at the same time, the huge empty space beside my living room had the occasional wide, grey Tamiya tracks in it. Hmmm I guess you all should understand now why I was never into sports. I was the indoor-sy person.

Now we'll take a look at the present. My main obsessions are going to the gym and anything related to architecture. Oh furthermore, some of my childhood ones have lived on and stayed with me. Yes, I'm still obsessed with trains and buses. Remember that news report on that train 'otaku' guy who caught the first Circle Line train and he couldn't sleep just because of it's opening? Yeah I feel that guy. Whenever my friends insulted him on FB I felt like punching them in the face. But I'm not like him because I've somewhat mastered my fetish for trains. Oops. I used the taboo word of the day. Nvm, let's move on.

I decided to finally elaborate on my 2 prominent obsessions here. If anyone else asks me anything related to these things again, I'd be too lazy to explain and blame them for not reading my blog. (TBH, part of the blame goes to Facebook for not displaying websites on the front profile page anymore). Gym. Why? Let's view this equation:
My father telling me to bulk up because I was too skinny + I had a gym in JC with its doors wide open, calling my name + I can't waste away my efforts = Obsession numero uno.

Yeah, that's essentially it. All those training sessions got me hooked and I can't simply abandon it because I'd shrink and that means all my hard work would eventually atrophy. (Am I using that right?) So. I'd might as well grow bigger. It's a vicious cycle. There is one side effect though. Fitting into my smart four is a torture, and it's like having 2 tourniquets around my arms. S-M is the size of my uniform, and I've tried M before, and that 'torture' remains. I'm afraid to get an L because I'm considerably short in the first place and it'll be like  wearing a dress instead. Most of those in my camp told me that I'm too big or told me to stop going to the gym, and in my thoughts I'll be like 'shuddup already' muahahaha.

Architecture now. Not so sure about how this came about. But I do recall that it started when I was in Primary 2. Whatever I came up with are still with me, all neatly kept in a little blue file. Then I stopped drawing for a while ever since The Sims entered my life, and I started to create more from there. I can't really draw freestyle so I always have to have a ruler with me. (This is the main reason why I'm still reluctant to reapply for archi, although my passion for it is evidently there) And when I'm out, I'd just stare at buildings and think why are they made like this, why is the colour combination so bad, how the hell did the architect come up with that, so many condos look alike so I need to step in, etc. I'm into minor details as most of my friends know, so things that people ignore would appear to be a big problem to me.

Now you know. Woah, this is definitely a long-ass post, a rare sight in this blog. That's all I guess. I hope to post more frequently though. Yes, I know I have been saying this, but the lousy page view count needs a boost.
