technically, my new favourite word

Week 9 was definitely one hell of a week, but the fun only started on Thursday. Most of the class stayed back to break fast together at Causeway Pt, and for the 1st time sitting in a food court for more than 2 hours has never been so fun! We talked a lot, but my mood was dampened by the sucky bibimbab (ok actually it was my 1st time trying it, but if Koreans were to love it so much then it wouldn't be so salty right?) and at the same time my anger towards my school grew. You should see my 'anger ball' in FB! As usual, everything happened did not change my facial expression at all, since I was was able to 'transfer' what I felt towards something else. Had to buy a 10kg packet of rice, so we were like one big mob entering Cold Storage at 10pm! Arif gave me a ride home on his motorbike after that, and sure it was exhilarating because the last time I ever sat on one was like 14 years ago (last year doesn't count). Got pinched randomly on the way on the way.....thanks so much Arif for the ride though!

Yesterday was another Ms Su day, we had a full GP compre test (ok the AQ part was brought forward to next week) and my group had to do as much for WR as possible and had to have it checked. 2100+ words, but we are still no where near EE (it's not even fully completed yet) so there are loads of nooks and crannies to be straightened out. Due to this, we had to break fast in school instead with a few dates and biscuits, complemented by random songs blasted out through the canteen speakers due to Council's TD preparation. F@#$ THAT NOBODY SONG! My mind was engrossed in what would happen if I confronted the 'guy who caused everything bad' and as usual I had a blank face throughout the time some of us were sharing stuff with my CT after school, and I was staring at him most of the time during PW consultation. Seriously life can be considered unfair, but that's because us humans are the ones who cause this.

Went to recce the REAL run route together with the other road and safety marshals (only 6 attended) and I would like to wish good luck to those who will be running (actually it's the whole school). It may only be 2.2 km, but the terrain will definitely drain your energy. Walking the first 600m of it was really tiring! Now I have to remind myself that there's a rusty metal rod jutting out from the grass so that there wouldn't be any major injury next Monday:) The 'souvenir' I got from the trip somehow signals to me that no matter how holy a month is, dirty stuff will always find me somehow......

Now I realise how unjust my school system is, investigations are meant to be done comprehensively, not based on mere opinions and thoughts. Education is a huge thing in Singapore, so allowing to let it go just like that is like the end. My life in JC is more on treasuring and helping my friends than taking good care of myself now. A letter to 'the queen' would somehow be a form of help. 'I hope that our amateur yet sincere plea would get our message across, thank you'.

Oh, and I indirectly injured someone on Wednesday.

As you all know, Ramadan has already started. 4th day already, and everything else goes on as usual. I become tired easily now, not due to the lack of food, but the lack of sleep. The days are seemingly arduous nowadays. What can I say? Wasting time on the computer is much preferred than sleeping for an additional 2 hours! HAHA I'm crazy right? Well this year I have one huge problem with fasting. The desperate need for water! My eight-cups-before-5.40am theory does work, but as for a guy with a high metabolism rate, it does have its own side effect. The phrase 'What goes in must come out fast' goes well with all you high 'metabolisers' out there. Imagine, what the stress from about 6 cups of water has on your bladder! I have to contend myself with this every weekday! By the end of the fasting month, I can guarantee you that somehow I'll have one of the biggest bladders in the world. Oh the agony.......

I thought last week was weird, till today, right from the start of school. NMA played that bloody Nobody song while I was suffering in the com lab trying to print my MLL homework and the printing card got stuck! Mr Chan, the VP, was giving a serious announcement on JC2 prelims and I kind of ignored it just like other announcements, till he said 'don't get late'. Innocent looking you ask? He pronounced 'late' as 'laid'! What's even worse, I was the only one laughing! It's either my mind is over-polluted or the announcement fell on deaf ears. National anthem time, silence fell upon us as usual. Only this time with a tinge of Womanizer played out from someone else's phone or super loud headphones. I stopped singing, enjoyed the song a bit and then 'Marilah kita bersatu....'!

I was especially sleepy today and civics made it worse. For the first time ever, the topic of sex bores me. Given that Ms Sumitha is from India, sex ed was technically a taboo subject for her, so of course I had to understand that she can't really talk about it! The problem is the school planning out all our civics lessons. Why can't it be like sec sch where teachers and students share their experiences of something?

Everyone else thought I was like depressed or something till my sudden burst of energy. Haha I know somehow Fizah and Sharifah thought I was mentally damaged. Well the fact that Geog tutorials will now be conducted in the library, getting 5/9 for my essay and the 'exhilaration' from completing my EOM contributed to that, but going to National Library suppressed my happy mood. I stayed back for a while (ok it's more than an hour actually) to study Geog and enjoy the wind blasting at us, sending sheets of paper flying everywhere and toppling random dustbins.

The journey on 960 was irritating, but at least I got to pass through Bukit Panjang for the 2nd time in my LIFE (1st time was just last week). I'm an easterner, what do you expect? At NL I went straight up to the 11th floor, grabbed my EOM book and went to the photocopy room. There was a girl from RJC inside, obviously doing PW because she was photocopying conservation plans. My mind was full of crap, thinking "that bitch will definitely get an A and i'll get a B". Ok higher-end JCs intimidate me!

Ok throughout this whole week I'm actually depressed, thinking non stop about Superbastard. I described everything to Cherie Shorty and after that we devised methods on how to get rid of him. Ok seriously I hate him now.

Superbastard: Irfi! Get out from the toilet quick! I want to bathe!
Me: (with knife-stabbing images in my head) Aren't there like 2 toilets in the house....
Mother: Yah you can use the other toilet what.
Superbastard: I don't want. It feels WEIRD.
WTF WTF WTF I know you want to smoke in the fucking toilet so why don't you just tell us! Just stop acting all highfalutin-y (thanks Mr. Lee) in front of my mother and just get the fuck out of my house! Napthalene eliminates musty odours, not smoke you idiot! I don't care about you trying to rotate my mother's pic in your phone! AAAH!

it's fun translating malay lit notes into english!

After so many months, Math finally ended at 4.10! Well technically that's because definite integrals was a small topic so it was an exception. Came back home happier when I realised that my gate was locked, so it meant that my sister wasn't home yet. It's considered a slack day at school today, with Math following the actual timetable, no Geog lesson and Ms Sumitha being absent from Civics. What did we do? I 'blasted' songs through the classroom speakers and at the same time studied for Math redemption test. It still sucked though for not completing the first half of the 1st question. My class is full of somewhat vocab nerds now since Ms Su has been asking us to beef up our vocab. It does have an effect on you when you take the effort to memorise and internalise words. Guess I'll probably never forget impetus, idiosyncrasy, prognosticate and servile ever...... Can't wait for cca tmr! Wen Hao, I'm going to *****!

animal freaks!

Well you can say I'm crazy for using the computer immediately after I woke up but I just can't sleep anymore!. Well how ironic is that since sleep is really what you need when you're a JC student. Pressing ctrl+F5 really works whenever a webpage goes wrong. I had to press them twice so that all the features in blogger and facebook will appear. Thanks Syafiq!

Friday was fun. Wen Hao, Nazurah, Hafizah and I went to recce Botanic Gardens for next week's ODAC session. We planned a race and at the same time walked through the upper half of the gardens. All we did was planning, admiring, taking pictures, talking and singing. There was this time we were approached by a random girl near the Bandstand and I thought she was trying to hook one of us up, till she said "How's life?". The moment she said that, 'Truth or Dare" came up in my mind. Haha if I were to be her I wouldn't even do that! We continued along the rich bitches side of BG, and Hafizah's phobia of large dogs got a grip of her and she ran and screamed. We were all laughing, till this random fat bitch walking a German Shepherd gave us a mini lecture on how our actions can provoke dogs and that they have feelings and shit. She even threatened to unleash the dog! I got pissed with her because she was one of those busybody fat hags who are crazy about animals. Biatch. BG looked as if it was holding a dog convention with so many dogs all over the place. After many non-verbal insults, it was time to get back home and compared school bag weights on the way. I took bus 7 and then the MRT to Tampines. I can't stand taking a bus from Bedok! The interchange is too ugly hahaha. Hmm I sould get a McCafe frappe later since they're having a $3.95 promotion....

Watching 'Up' later with Prisisnolongeravirgin and Natannestuart and after that figuring how to get rid of just 2 words in my EOM. Damn, every word seems to be too important to be removed now.... Oh by the way, Victoria Justice joined Emma Watson in my 'Who's hot?' section of my brain.

Geog homelessness lecture:
Ms Nafisah: Did you know that there's a city called 6th of October? It's in Egypt. It must be named after the date it was built or something. Imagine if Singapore were to be named 9th of August instead, then we would be like 'Majulah 9th of August' or 'We the citizens of 9th of August' or something.

Sex, tears and punctuality

Blogger's worse now! All I see is a white background with the text box and ugly blue links all over the place! It better be Morakot's fault instead of an internal technical glitch! Well moving on today has been one weird day. I woke up late again so I had to take the taxi all the way to the bus stop in front of the blue building (NOT IKEA) at the fringe of Tampines to catch my usual bus. Thanks random $50! The highlight of the day was definitely sex ed assembly! It was ok, I can truly say that it was milder than Mr Bakar's last year. The videos were considered normal to me, but of course I can't deny that the sex scenes did provoke the minds of the conservative. HAHA Paris Hilton's infamous Carl's Jr commercial was even more raunchy! But, the photos were something else! The pussy photo was definitely an eye-opener, and I hope definitely deterred the girls from having pre-marital sex! Chlamydia is HORRIBLE! Geog tutorial was next and I randomly joined the others for consultation, so that equals to 3 hours of geography today.... With the hope of returning home came the view of teary eyed boys. I have no idea at all what had happened, and as usual the actual reason is hidden from me when I asked why. It's seriously weird! Well I don't want to provoke someone who's known to have a very short temper so I just let the matter go. Not mixing with the boys as much as I'm supposed to be led to some secrets being kept away from me. Even the girls do that, so generally I'm somewhat at the centre of the class now. Remember 'Fikril's Peer Bond Theory' I made a few months ago? Well now it's stuck at the 'scotch tape' level.

I continued my conversation with the girls, and the matter of me not being angry was brought up. Ironically that did made me feel a bit angry after a while because it reminded me that Superbastard came back home yesterday! My blood pressure literally went up the moment I saw him. Asshole. Now he's trying to turn over a new leaf and was trying to suck up to my mother. I'll tell you, he'll return to his old ways in no time. Oh and classmates who blow up easily irritate me A LOT. You know who you are.

YES everything's finally back to normal! Ok anyway I had totally wasted one whole Saturday. It was all about sleeping, eating watching tv, using the com; you know, all that usual shit. Except the fact that I didn't bathe today. I don't have any form of determination in me right now to study or even read the books (Useful Idiots, His Illegal Self) I just borrowed from the library. My mother's supposed to be back from SK today but somehow her trip had to be extended till Mon, so she'll be back on Tues instead!

Friday was much better. Had National Day 'celebrations' at school, and we had to make an artefact for Singapore. It was technically messed up, not exactly how I wanted it to be (I came up with the idea ok!), but at least the general idea was there. It didn't make it as a finalist though. After the whole thing the principal held a random buffet for all who were involved in PUS. Food, glorious food! They also weren't your usual fare! The moment I realised that the 2 buffet tables had different food, while I was eating, this was in my mind: "Finish your food quick! Second feed on the other side!". the utensils, being made from biodegradable plastic made eating much more 'pleasant'. Ok enough about food. Met Aliff and Fahmi and finally got a new shirt! (Thanks Aliff for entering Giordano at the right time! hahahaha)

someone deserves to be slapped today.

Today's one heck of an f*****-up day. First with school. I got 19.5/40 for GP compre test, and not completing my summary contributed to that, got my PACER rep badge and ODAC. The PACER thing may not be such a big deal, but we people definitely would feel a little bit proud since we're the only J1s now to have a badge! Had a little 'ceremony' -getting our badges and eating a few tarts- and then it's off for CCA. Technically there was no alternate plan, since the original plan was rejected. It's a sure thing that a protected area is off-limits to the public, so why even bother exploring? We played frisbee captain's ball style and for the 1st time I was so engrossed in it, and that payed off since my group won.! Went to the 0943A classroom (damn their aircon) together with Wen Hao and Nabisah to cool down and do EOM, that's all!

It's the after-school part that's interesting. I had to go to Paya Lebar to fetch my grandmother from my cousin's condo since my mother's flying off to South Korea again for work stuff (she doesn't trust my sister and I being alone in the house). At least that gave me the chance to meet my cousin again after quite a while. I went back home with granny afterwards, only to find out that my mother's passport was missing! All I know was that my mother set it aside in her luggage and that the exiled superbastard came back home for a while. My neighbour managed to find it in superbastard's pillowcase. That of course instigated a feeling that superbastard hid it. And, he confirmed it after his call. (hehehe I was reading a Courts catalogue while he blabbed crap at me) EOM style: Therefore this proves the reliability of Fikril's statement on his stepfather, that he's a fucking bastardy knn-y cb-y git. This statement is also useful when it comes to determining his exile period. (EE)

Anyway, now I know why the extra options in blogger don't work. It's Mozilla's fault!

I WANT TO UPLOAD PICS!

After a day of sulking due to losing my group's PW file, it's over because someone found it and handed it over to Ms Su! See what happens when you are too preoccupied in your head (aaah! I[m turning into my mother!). Anyway Aliff and I returned to SHSS for CD like last week. Everyone was doing the same thing, drills and CPR. The Sec 1s are still doing it bad and of course, it was a concern to me and the others. One problem contributes to this. The seniors are not observant enough, so that's why there were repeated mistakes. After the whole thing we went to McDonalds as usual, but this time, we talked till 9.45pm, mostly on what's happening in CD. For example, people quitting, changing, and the CCA becoming boring. I know the juniors need Aliff and me for help, but I have to say that it's their turn to step up. Any my screen blacked out for a few hours, till Cherie knocked my phone and it worked again:)(THANKS- as requested by Cherie)

Now on the music side, everyone must have heard Beyonce's Halo somehow. And now Kelly Clarkson's Already Gone is released. Go hear them at the same time. Sounds familiar? Before you think that Kelly's a ripoff, it's not! It's neither their fault, but the damn producer actually. Ryan Tedder. Lead singer, One Republic. He write the song for Kelly at first, and Beyonce heard it and wanted one of her songs to sound like it too. But of course Beyonce's was released first because her album was released earlier. Prior to the release of Halo, Kelly didn't want Already Gone to be released, but her record group went against her wishes. Kelly told the media what happened and thus, she was dropped from her record label of 8 years. Awww.... damn idiots!
