full swing baby!

Gosh today was really packed, both my schedule and with people! Had a long-ass rehearsal for PUS from 7am to 5pm. It was quite boring, and at one point I actually slept till the VP disturbed my blank dream. The food and PGP was sufficient to keep me awake though. Planned to waste time like yesterday on CCL, but too bad Safiah had embarrassing stains on unwanted parts of her skirt:( (Sze-Ern if by any chance you're reading this remember the chilli sauce stain on your butt during class party?) It was smooth-sailing on the way home, till the last 300m stretch to my bus stop because of one big jam. Downtown East was full and there was one concert inside. Damn I'm gonna miss Pasir Ris because of this, in addition to all the great and random stuff around. In fact, there's a random marathon at the carpark in front of my block right now! stupid bedok reservoir....but at least Downtown Line will have a station nearby my new home:)

Yay. Semester's over. Well it still sucks since I have to mug for summer test and continue PW...holiday or not, jc invades our lives...aaahh! Fikril, end with this sad shit!

Today in point form:
-Met Wen Hui on the train to Tampines, I was really shocked that he's in TJC
-Sony Ericsson just released 3 FUCKING amazing phones (I also have a phone fetish)
-Helped Din adjust his blog layout
-Jia Ying left her BuBee (boobie!) bottle, so I had to bring it home
-Adjusted references for PW at Woodlands library
-Did a lot of wandering around to waste time on the way home, took MRT to Bishan and then to Serangoon (I love CCL!), took 58 and finally 89, everything in 2 hours

On with the phones!
SE has been losing millions since last year, so I hope their latest lineup will turn that around! Too bad there are only 3, but all are great!!! The phones now have Japanese names instead of plain old numbers:)

hungriness fills me up

Yay my PW group advanced further into GPP and it's just the surveys left! I'm really tired of PW, but too bad we have to bare with it for another.....6 months! It even intrudes PUS, since my group is the slowest:( Anyhoose I finally talked to Reyna on the bus to sch just now, and as usual she had her blur face on when I intruded her daze...

The highlight of the day was definitely checking out Circle Line, which just opened today. By now you guys should know that I'm kind of a train geek, and I used to love all those mechanical stuff when I was young, but my love for trains still lived on. I had to wait for Nat at Bishan for like 20 mins, so while waiting for that GOH I did a survey on the line...... and played some Need For Speed on my phone. After Nat came we took pics everywhere, and took the train to Marymount first. We talked a whole lot of train stuff, then about the possibility of a 4G gathering +++ (that better come true!). Damn I should have taken a pic of a spelling error on a pregnancy test ad just now!

all about stats

Well today was filled with 'exciting' things:) Met Afiq on the train, ran all the way from Tamp MRT to the library bus stop to catch the early 168, my group's GPP is finally almost complete, and we have till this Friday to finalise it. Interestingly I got to now about Singapore's 1st swiney case during PW. I was kinda happy because I was looking forward to the day that it will somehow reach here. I called the girl who brought it here from NY stupid and PUB (poob) most of the time, but I I got 28/50 for my GP essay, and yes, I finally passed, but as for Malay, it really sucked.. I got 5/40, and this is a pure result of not studying. What's even worse is that I got 3/20 for my 2nd qn, which is only half a page long, but 2/20 for my 1st, which is 2 pages long! I feel that I truly suck big time waaa....

Ok on with the good news, I finally passed my napfa test, and that's because I finally cleared the dreaded SBJ, and the 10 sec and 55 for shuttle run (9.8s) and sit-ups (56)! After all that sweating, I went to Aliff's house to set up Office 2007 for him, and went to BK after that.......

By the way, swiney HQ (Singapore) MUST be decisive in its actions so that school will be closed during the summer test period!

P.S.: I typed all of this naked waist-down... And I'm waiting for Sony Ericsson's phone announcement...

graffiti without paint/arrest/photon bombing/guerrilla projection

WTH is the title about you say? It's actually like 'painting' a building without doing any physical alteration to it. You just place a huge projector in front and whatever design you want will appear on the building, so in seconds, it will look as if it's newly painted! Ok too random.

The x-physique race thing was yesterday, and too bad we were not able to finish it since one of us had a recurring backache. It was seriously really tiring, and the whole race was on foot. We started at Marina Square, then to Kallang River, then to Tanjong Rhu. The latter part was interesting, bacause I've never seen so many condos in one area in my whole life! Everyone had to rely on me since I was giving directions. After that we went to Mt Emily and then to Orchard. Since it was really tiring, we rested at the most random of places, one outside the Indoor Stadium and a sofa outside a interior design office near Parc Emily. I was actually aiming to get the first few positions of the race, but based on how slow we are (haha), I ended up looking forward a lot to the goodie bag, and a great one it was! There were loads of random stuff from the sponsors, like a Men's Health magazine , Shokubutsu cleansers, Gatsby stuff, NUM coupons....too many to describe all already. Everything ended with a meal at McDonalds. I felt damn guilty since I ate there for 3 days in a row, but I was like "I don't care" because of my 'high' metabolism.

i seriously love the goodie bag, but too bad I can't use everything! Who wants some?

Aah I just don't know where to start! Surprisingly one of the most stressful weeks in JC turned out to be eventful...ok I'll start with today. WAS LATE AGAIN...bloody hell. Thank God it wasn't counted, if not I'd qualify for detention already! Imagine you are in your regular bus...everything's ok...and your just about a kilometre away from your school...then suddenly there's a JAM. Just opposite the sports sch there was a bloody (not literally) accident and the jam lasted for 10 mins!

ok over already, so yeah I was late, around 50 ppl walked together all the way to the main gate. Speaking of latecoming, my class has the highest number of latecoming 'offences' in the whole JC1 cohort! 30 to be exact. Supposed to be 25, but for some reason they still added in today's although we were excused...weird.

Went for Friday prayers as usual, did some of PW and went straight to Aliff's house. After that both of us went to SHSS for the last hour of CD, and played some touch-rugby-like game with Aliff, Mr Yeoh, Gary, Shubli and some random BB boys. For some reason I was so happy to be there, sooo happy that I chased Rishi all over the canteen. Haha as long the other students haven't seen an IJC uniform, it's all ok. The councillors also had their commendation rehearsal, and damn it that I'm definitely unable to attend the actual thing since school ends at 3.40 and the thing starts at 2.30! Ok commendation aside, after CD we went to Mac, talked a lot, ordered a Big Mac EVM, and talked about....... haha censored! Aliff had to leave early, so eventually all of us left together. Shubli was willing to let me ride on the back of his bicycle, and I must say that it was fun. I didn't want to go back early so both of us went to the funfair beside Tamp MRT station. Met Jeremy halfway (finally his hair grew back) and talked about stress in poly and JC. Haha law students....

Finished my Big Mac at home and chat a lot with some of the Jap exchange peeps on our 'gathering' during the June holidays! We discussed a lot, but most of it were on the drinking part! It will definitely be fun seeing them drunk, and I even gave the idea of a booze swimming pool. That's kinda weird for someone who can't drink right? hahaha I even twisted 'Heineken' to H1N1ken, and as expected I got the 'lame' word aimed at me. Well I seriously am looking forward to the gathering!

The moment my group wanted to take a pic suddenly the rest came! Well the ones in costumes are somewhat promoting their drama or something, definitely part of theatre studies (eee lit)

On Wed the PUS (i'm putting it in an acronym on purpose) ushers had to go for the rehearsal at NUS. It was quite a different experience, but I didn't feel like I was in a uni though.

Hehe I just read that 2 people were suspended from work after they were caught peeing into Old Faithful geyser at Yellowstone National Park (geog alert!), on a LIVE webcam! Are they stupid or something? Why would they want to sacrifice their dicks and turn them into dormant sausages?! They must have had the idea of giving a little 'spice' to the water. Ok enough with the dicks. I'm getting a new laptop, since it comes as a free gift together with my new home's renovation package. Had to choose between Acer and Asus, so I chose Acer of course. Does it make much of a difference since both of them are Taiwanese? Well it better not turn out to be a netbook, I want a full-fledged one!

Well Elya just told me that the Sec 2s in CD want to quit, and that there's little bonding between the cadets anymore. Well the reason's clear-cut, but why is this happening (and other related stuff) after Aliff and me left? Wow, I didn't know 2 people can make a huge difference. This will definitely add to my growing list of things to worry about....

I had my 2.4km NAPFA test today, and I was the only boy since the others already took theirs last week! Hehe it gave me confidence since I knew that I would always be ahead of the girls (haha). My crocs helped to shave 20 seconds off my previous timing, so now it's 11:06. However, like I said before, the shoes are not designed for running, so my pinky toe is in pain till now. I was seriously tired like hell and for some reason on the last round, some 'entity' put the word 'vomit' in my head, and I really felt like puking! Anyway after PE I played Britney's Radar on my phone and at the canteen, I DROPPED IT AND THE PHONE SPLIT INTO TWO. The amazing thing was that the song was still playing as if nothing happened. Pissed-off-ness and happiness filled me since I just got my phone back but it was so cool to see my phone like that and still working! Hehe a picture of my 'dissected' phone will be uploaded soon once I get my phone back.

ODAC was too dry and boring, and about the party thing, bloggers asked whether those infected can gather together and have parties, since close contact between them may build up their immunity to the virus further.....

Seriously, what's up with celebrities nowadays? Has the line of conservatism been wiped off this year? (eee like GP qn) First Vanessa Hudgens got her nude pics leaked online, and now a few copycats have joined in the fun. Hehe like the trend of reporters throwing shoes at so-called important people. This year Cassie started it, then Rihanna followed suit. The Rihanna one isn't finalised yet, but Def Jam WAS NOT able to deny it. Today, Lenny Kravitz has his butt exposed and there are rumours that nude pics of Christina Milan and Jamie Foxx may be leaked somewhere. I personally think that it's all for publicity's sake, but as for the Rihanna one, I'm not so sure, since I don't think her ass is that huge. If i were to be Chris Brown's fault, it would be his turn to be hit!

Well anyway nudie issues aside, I finally got my phone back today. I swear that somehow the bass quality has improved but overall sound quality somehow degraded:( The technician must have messed with the acoustics or something....

since when is mother's day today?

Today's religious class was probably the most enjoyable of the year. We had to do a skit and had to learn days and months in Arabic. As usual everyone was blank the moment my teacher spoke to us in Arabic, but my teacher had to do all those funny movements so that we could get a gist (haha Nabilah = juice) of what she's trying to say. As a result, it was like a big game of charades.

After resting from my stupid headache (and I'm still having it now), my mother and I had to go to TM to get a new SIM card for her, since she lost her phone yesterday... I also don't know how the hell that can even happen. My mother even considered trading-in my sister's phone (which was confiscated) to get a new phone! After a whole load of walking and picking up litter in the train, everything ended at home with a Ramly burger:)

Now on to the next topic, random, but somewhat relevant. I'm kinda pissed with people who pronounce words beginning with 'wh' as 'hw'. I just feel like slapping them! Even Clay Aiken does it! It's totally wrong, and it definitely started from the Americans, since Seth MacFarlane made fun of it and that Swan woman from MadTV pronunced it like that too. My pissed-off-ness also applies to 'their' too...hahahhaha

In my utmost sincere opinion, I don't know what to think of my class anymore, at least in terms of general knowledge. First, it was Vijay, not knowing who Britney is. You'll never know my degree of shock when he asked 'Is this girl in a band or something". Now it's Jia Ying (or Ying Ying Spears in my language) who worsened the situation. NOT KNOWING WHO OPRAH IS...IS LIKE WORSE THAN THE DEATH PENALTY. It was like stuck in my head for the rest of the day and I was like OMG what kind of world am I living in now............................................ Both of them are already enough to make me feel........I don't know what to say already.........

Super Hydraulic Instantaneous Transport

Took that from the Cat In The Hat movie. I had a whole lot of relaxing today, but all of it was at home. Too bad I have to force myself to revise Geography later. Yesterday was full of ups and downs, with Mas Selamat being caught, my group's PIs being rendered (am i using this word right?) useless, and left school at 7.30pm due to training. My crocs shoes are definitely not designed for any from of long-distance running! They caused a blister on my right feet after running 20 mins non-stop on the treadmill, but at least the soles made me feel like i'm bouncing. Thank George B. Boedecker Jr. for Croslite!

Just realised that one advantage of being in a JC is the school holiday on Monday:) hehe not applicable to polys...

Have you guys experienced one major problem on msn, where you get links to porn websites from people who are not even online? I've been getting that a lot lately. AND I'M IN LOVE!!!!

Went to the polyclinic and the whole procedure was kind of fast since only a limited number of people are allowed in at one period of time. Ms Shen (teacher in charge of PUS) called me, somewhat complaining that she needed a replacement for the ushering thing. I felt bad, but my irritating brain was in the way. DON'T WORRY MS SHEN, I STILL LOVE YOU.

Got scolded by my mother for eating irregularly, and talked to Pris on the phone for more than 30 mins. I had to update my phone with the same software for the 3rd time, since I modded it (modifying will break the warranty), and I need to send it for repair at Eastpoint tomorrow! The stupid thing was the phone was off during the update, so now I cannot switch it on since the on button is spoilt....damn it lah.

The only plus today was that my Britney reaction video gained 60000+ views in one day, so the view count as of now stands at 64,427:)

My beloved phone is dying right in front of my very eyes! 2 very important buttons are not working when it's slide(or slid)-up and the film connecting the screen to the lower part is clicking (i know that because i saw a vid of the phone being disassembled before)....noooooooo
My white shirt and shoes for PUS got 'evaluated', and my shoes (court shoes from council commendation 3 yrs ago) were in terrible shape, so I desperately need new ones! By the way I'm in charge of Singapore Poly for the PUS briefing tmr.

One of the weirdest things happened today, and that was after Civics. My classmate and I was sleeping, and the rest of the class practically left us alone, with the lights off! I knew some of them tried to wake us up, but obviously that isn't good enough. Well with this I would like to test 'Fikril's Peer Bond Theory'.

Adding on to my frustration is me getting 4/16 for my Geog essay test... Though it was expected, it was stuck to the back of my brains for like the whole day....I'M PATHETIC

School ended at 7pm today, just because of an econs test! I really hope I pass since I really wrote quite a lot (2 essays!). It was in LT1, which was weird, and we shared it with the h2 physicists who were also taking a test. Watched a bit of Little Nyonya on 161, and had to wait 15 mins for 89!! Somehow my 'observancy' skills are at their peak today, because the 1st thing I saw on the bus sign of a MOVING 83 was 'Compassvalve St'! Is SBS Transit really that dumb to make an error like that?? Anyway I was not the only one waiting for the bus, this jc2 guy who also lives in Pasir Ris was also doing the same. Downloaded a few videos and songs into my phone, watched Family Guy. Now, my day is over. nytssss

I'm in love with Pastamania's Alfredo pasta and the Apple Crumble! Ate there together with my sister and mom at 2pm, and then went to Expo to get my white shirt for Pre-U Sem (PUS for short...:) I argued with my mother before going to Expo because she forced me to wear this ugly shirt and I hate it ever since she bought it! In the end to appease her I wore my Uniqlo shirt she bought for me in Korea (south lah), and I'm starting to like it. Together with my white shirt, I also bought ankle socks, Crocs shoes for school and a thumbdrive for my sister. The shoes were only $50, and I got a surprise when I checked the Crocs website just now! Its original price is $149! And the fact that there was only one size 8 left made me even more happy. But, I don't know whether I want to use it now (same with my N360). Too precious to use......Anyway I managed to revise Econs during the trip.......bloody test.....

oh and britney's last leg in her US tour is today....next, Europe!
