Yesterday: Probably THE most boring Hari Raya Haji I've ever had in my life. With school happening before that, I don't even care about the occasion anymore. HAHA, to the extent that it slipped off my mind that goats are involved. Went to my maternal grandmother's, ate great food as always, and ended the visit with three-quarters of X-Men 2. My cousins were somewhat engrossed in their own stuff so the visit was more of watching tv and eating, the regular shit.

'stares at corn'. Speaking of corns, I decided to leave the one on my palm altogether. That's after finding out that its growth was spurred only by constant pressure on the skin (that's why they're commonly found on your feet!), not the usual 'something dirty inside' crap by sinsehs. So as long I'm carrying weights, it grows. Mr Corn is back people!

Rihanna's (you know, that was-hot-girl-turned-into-rooster) Russian Roulette displaced Telephone from my head, playing slowly on the cracked-up vinyl player in my brain. Did you watch her latest performance on the American Music Awards? WTH was she wearing? Technically, she was 70% covered-up, but that 30% was spread in the form of stripes throughout her whole body. Robyn Fenty, I know you're desperate, but please keep it down! You're only 21...

Wow, after the trip to Pulau Tekong just now, I'm totally looking forward to NS, that is, if I actually get into SAF...Whatever that I first thought of NS was completely wrong. Well, it took the country 40 years to finally cater to our needs. Not that it's a bad thing, but it shows that the government DOES listen. The JC1s were given a tour of a minor (miniscule is a much better word) of the island, with 6 stations available on the basic aspects of NS. The video shown at the beginning somewhat 'brainwashed' me, you know, propaganda and all that. On the positive side, it's for us guys to experience a smoother transition from being an average civilian to a national serviceman. Got my face camouflaged by the green and black paint made by 'vegetable oil'. Thanks to this, now I have a growing pimple on my forehead! SAF, SAF, SAF!!! I don't want to be posted into CD or the PF!

Moving on, my class went to 'celebrate' the farewell of Ms Sumitha and Sharifah at Eighteen Chefs at Yishun. Like before, we were noisy and randomly joined along when others were singing happy birthday. Furthermore, like any regular gastronomical event, I finished everyone else's food. Currently 55, definitely back to 54 in a few hours...

The current buildup of phlegm in my throat is damn irritating!

Camp was......ok. Smelt shit most of the time due to the stupidly-placed sewage drain in front of the Multi-Purpose Hall. I (ok I'm sure many others too) was jealous towards the other half of the cohort who got the Jalan Bahtera camp at first, but actually accommodation-wise, the Sarimbun one's much better. I expected a typical camp at first with the usual high-elements thing but it was different. Land expedition = 'expedition' my ass, it's just walking around the arterial roads of Lim Chu Kang. Kayaking expedition = didn't happen at all, thanks to that Thursday deluge that happens 'every 50 years' (The Straits Times, 2009). Haha PW's still stuck in my head. Well other than that the purely exciting things that happened were the campfire, finishing everyone else's food as always, and the condom left on the rim of the dustbin, outside the boys' toilet. The bad thing? I didn't gain weight...urrrggghhhhh.

6 hours after the end of camp, it's 2012 time! Watched it together with Prisisnolongeravirgin and Natannestuart. We originally planned to watch it at PS but luck was not on our side as only the lousy front seats were available, so we had to switch to TM:( BBQ Chicken again before the movie and 'camwhored' after. The movie's ok, just full of predictable scenes like the main characters being able to escape whatever form of danger, a kiss near the ending plus many other crap. Surprisingly the movie succeeded in keeping me awake throughout its 2.5h++ ordeal, which means it's good...but.... Paranormal Activity is still better!

PS: hit me 50 more times and i'll be happier

Come on and party...it's a celebration...something something something, just won't do. Does it ring the bell, alarm or Tsunami Warning System in your brain? It's extracted from Madonna's Celebration by the way. Celebrate? Why you ask? I'M EFFING PROMOTED! Yay. Too bad MLL spoiled my ranking point total as I got an S (pronounce this with a wide-open mouth) for it. Of course, this is what happens when you don't study. Whatever, I hate the subject from day 1 anyway. Damn, Stefani Germanotta Ft. Beyonce's Telephone song is stuck in my head now. Moreover, school isn't over yet..Econs and Math lectures tomorrow....camp...cheers.....yawn.

Just found out that last Friday's (or was it the one before?) sermon was on GLOBAL WARMING. Finally an interesting topic, but I wasn't there! God, that servant right there named Fikril is mass-sinning. Stupid audience duty and infrequent buses! Oh and he's missing this Friday's too. Stupid camp!

Oh, remember when NASA announced that there's an abundant supply of water on that giant blackhead-ed and pimple-scarred sphere up in the sky? This was what they found:

quack!

Friday, 13th (excellent!)

OP. Fully prepared for it. Saw 2 examiners for audience duty. Everyone started to relax. BUT, 1 hour later, while my group was busy setting up the laptop and playing with the glasses left behind by the previous group, it felt as if it was doomsday for us. The 3 SEAB examiners (nooo I wanted the Brits) who were walking around outside decided to enter our classroom, and the situation became worse as the 2 heads of PW decided to pay us a lovely visit. How excellent! Now we have 7 to deal with! Stuttered a bit during the presentation. They better understand why I'm nervous because them your-future-is-in-their-hands-people multiplied!

Felt bored after that, so I decided to randomly play Ultimate Frisbee and joined in the IJC-SSS friendship games. Playing in the rain had never felt so rejuvenating before. Got smacked and hit by some SSS boys (definitely the Rugby ones). At least I scored 3 points for the team. At first I thought the SSS girls were kind of the rough and rugged kind but they were actually the giggly ones...just that this batch is the sporty version. It was a fun experience overall but I soiled my Crocs! Both thighs still aching, no warming up at all that's why. Went back home wet and was called a pussy again...as usual.

Cheen and Nadia suddenly called a short while after I reached home, asking whether to watch Paranormal Activity. Hesitated at first, but knowing that I must un-no-life my life (HAHA) I joined. Fahmi tagged along too. We were short of a few bucks so we had to solicit money! Thanks Hemant. Moving on to the movie, it IS scary and well put together ($15000 budget!), and due to that I wouldn't mind watching it again...with people whom I know are easily scared by the slightest of things...and pussies (hint!). Well watching a horror movie in an almost-full theatre surely heightens the movie experience.

Saturday, 14th

Went to Sentosa to help out in the so-called 'race' and SHSS UG gathering. The island was crowded as always, and we passed the Resorts World area at the entrance...damn rollercoasters. I want to visit the IR soon but too bad the entrance fee would definitely cost a bomb. The whole day was eventful, taking pictures of tattooed ah-bengs picking up starfish, staring at tourists and China people, lazing around the island off Siloso beach while waiting for the next group to arrive, tram-riding, staring at a huge frog, finding coins, watches and glasses at the bottom of a pool, BBQ....bla bla bla...that's all I can manage. Too much to describe! Well as of that day, I'm officially un-bored. Returning to bits of my normal life (this year's too boring) again rocks! Disadvantage? My arms are slowly responding to sunburn and now they hurt:(

Thanks Mr Yeoh for being such a great teacher for the past few years! (oh and thanks for turning the force-field-current finger positions into something fun: the three-dimensional loser sign)

Today

For some reason I love quacking randomly now. HAHA that's totally out of the main point. Had to be present at HortPark by 6.40 for CCA, so 3 of us had to take a taxi. Traffic was obviously smooth, so the driver took the chance to drive at 110kmh from the Changi Airport vicinity to HarbourFront. Arrived at the park a minute late but that's because we dropped off away from the entrance and we still managed to babble around about noisy birds... Moreover, the taxi fare totaled up to $22.10 but at least there were the 3 of us to split the cost. Anyway the event we helped out in was some NorthWest CDC briskwalking thing so we were approached to help out to be first aiders and marshals. I had to be stationed at a staircase to prevent participants from taking a shortcut since there's a route planned out for them. Got stared at many times, thinking that I was some guy skipping school. Walking throughout the Southern Ridges was interesting though as it's my 1st time there. Ok 2009 introduced me to many new places to explore but it's still boring! Had breakfast at VivoCity after the whole event and messed around the rooftop like little children...By the way, parents should start a trend of undressing children in public and let them loose in the nude..Oh, and the wooden floors at the rooftop are evil! Thanks for the splinter (technically I was asking for it since I rubbed my right palm on the floor!)!!!!

This has been a long-ass post. QUACK!

Wednesday, 11 November 2009. The most boring and mundane day of the year. Ok, 2009 is the most shittiest (wow I'm surprised that there's no red dotted line underneath that word) year of my life. Reflecting back at what's been happening this year, technically I have no life. Not going out much, home, school, home, school, limited conversations. Like I mentioned before, I may be happy but I'm still damn bored+angry inside. Urrggghhh.

Ok till I get my proper life back, I'm playing the Sims.

What to do when it's 5am and you can't sleep anymore? Blog. Haha I'm supposed to update yesterday but the internet was hogged by my sister, so I read HP and ST, and slept in the end... Moving on (eew OP memories), I'm glad that my mother spent $106++ on me at Uniqlo and Topman at ION. Hey these things happen once every year or two ok! Should've waited for another exact month later though. It's a bit weird since I could just do the same thing at Tampines 1, but the ION ones have more variety! Anyway, don't you people realise that Orchard has too much glass now? Staring at Orchard Central and 313@Somerset alone gives me the greenhouse feeling. At least give the glass coloured tints instead of the usual shade of grey and green! I may love futuristic stuff, but I do believe that some of the old need to be retained...Ok I should stop ranting about before more PW stuff comes up in my mind:(

Random: Why aren't cough, dough and rough pronounced the same way? Damn you English language!

PW + MJ: This Is It + Being spun around like crazy on spinning thing = The perfect solution for insomniacs. Thank you Mikhail, for making me sleep for 14 hours.

Seriously, the only interesting parts of the movie were the dick-grabbing and MJ's Mr. Bean-like moves, but overall it does show MJ's seriousness about music. Anyway, I'm reducing Fladoodoos now. That includes:
-People who haven't updated for a very long time (months)
-Those who went missing
-Those who switched to other blogging modes without displaying their new site

OP OP OP OP OP OP OP OP!!! I'm getting sick of it! Too bad we PW goons have to deal with it for another week till PW's finally OVER. Started with loads of problems at first: improper enunciation, weird sounds and gestures, nervousness. Now all I have to deal with is stumbling upon words and pointing properly at the screen. Wait. Damn it. The Cambridge markers are coming on my OP day! Shoo problems, shoo! WTH am I talking about. I'm bored, my tagboard is dead, and I'm small (NOT down there). Urgghhh. PW is the epitome of stress and un-necessity, am I right dear children?

Oh and Mr Corn's growing AGAIN.

Went out with LJ-ians on Friday, Aliff on Saturday. Similarity? God was literally peeing on us like crazy and on both occasions a trip to Sentosa is canceled. Something bad's definitely going to happen if I went. Anyway, Love Happens sucked and Nat even snored! Currently hating China people being oblivious to Singapore's multi-racial-ness. Yeah I know I'm half of it but you can't expect everyone to know how to speak Chinese! On yesterday's trip to Marina Square, it was fun...full of improper decisions and exuberantly-priced stuff. Come on Lacoste, $104 for a damned polo shirt that looks like something you could get at Giordano? At least the shoes were priced reasonably. By the way, thanks NUM for brightening up my day further by displaying the word 'BOOMZ' red-ly and loudly at your shopfront.

Well I'm planning not to study for tomorrow's Malay paper at all since I'm fully aware I'll never ever achieve an A for it, let alone that ONE BLOODY POINT for uni. I'm just being realistic here but if I get an A somehow, I'll know who to thank.
