Had a night out to Bukit Timah with my closest JC mates yesterday. Of course we had fun, eating at Al-Ameen and playing pool at the City Plaza-lookalike (Beauty World to be exact) nearby. Possibly had the best naan ever and I had never laughed so much during a game of pool before. Thanks to Wen Hao, Hakim, Jeya, Giselle, Suraya and Jobina for yesterday and I hope you all had as much fun as I did:)

As for today, I had to go to Sungei Buloh again, leading the usual group of aunties and uncles. This time it was slightly different though. I was definitely the first person of the day to walk through the reserve, given the 10-odd threads of spider web that I had to break through. And finally, the sea otters appeared! Went to Lot One with AN and Shu Lian for breakfast, and were trapped by the hordes of Shinee fans in there. So many girls around and yet only about 1% of them were pretty. Oh, and I just found out that Shinee is a boy-band. How would I know???

Loads of homework to do, including a Malay NARRATIVE essay. Eeee I despise writing narrative essays. I prefer arguing than lying!

JC1 orientation period is finally here. Time files so fast that when I was part of it, it felt as if it happened just a few days ago. By the way, the 'Hildan family' in IJC has 3 members now. Nothing much happened overall though. I'm just glad that the GP essay test (supposed to be a timed assignment) is over, but I have a feeling I would fail it since my anti-thesis is made up of only one paragraph.

Learnt a lot about ropes today! Dynamic, static types.....reminds me of MLL.......Oh, and ropes come with certificates. LAME right.

One the geek side, for once, Apple released something that isn't revolutionary at all. The iPad is just a blown-up iPod Touch! Hey Steve, MadTv has an idea waiting for you for 3 years already. Go take it. It'll revolutionise the feminine industry. Muahahah ironically I'm not an Apple user at all:)

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Bedok Reservoir to Bukit Panjang in 15 minutes? It's possible, only if a taxi driver would drive 120-140kmh throughout the whole journey. Yes it happened. Reached Lightning LRT station at 6.15 to be exact. It dawned on me that it's a waste playing about $70 for the thrill rides in Resorts World Sentosa when you can have a cheaper alternative on the mainland for only $16.80. Now if bus drivers would follow suit, I'll be delighted!

Led a horde of Bukit Panjangers around Sungei Buloh and visited Bollywood Veggies again. Sooo not worth it for $16.80.

I seriously miss TCOB. And I'm procrastinating my evening prayers. Like Britney said, 'Livin' in sin is the new thing!'

I need to be in Bukit Panjang by 6.30am for ODAC. Hmmm what are my means of transport? The taxi or MRT maybe? HELP!

Oh and I went roaming around Bugis together with Pris and Nat. Forced myself to eat the fries in Empire State and wasted a good $9 on ice cream from the Marble Slab Creamery. I felt weird being out though, it's as if I'm being robbed of my study time. Yes Florence, a JC2 student's social life is non-existent. NOT.

Definitely screwed up the MLL homecoming exam today. And if I really do, I'll get a reward. MLL remedials! Arrggghhh anyway I just had a huge reality check. My mother doesn't expect me to go to uni. MLIA I tell you. I know I want to be a teacher, but I want to secure a few more jobs first (eg. urban planner, any other job related to natural disaster relief). But at least after asking that question, I know one thing. My mother allowed me to go to ******* for OCIP:) Yay it'll definitely beef up my SGC for sure.

Now on to the geek news, I've originally planned to stick to LG for the next year, but now I'm undecided since SE officially announced the Vivaz today. It looks damn cool! I'll wait for its reviews first though, since the LG Arena Max isn't announced yet.

To Wen Hao, Hakim, Jobina, Jeya, Giselle and Suraya, the second half of today was great! Thanks for lifting up my spirit after one bad school day, being late again and getting shouted at. I hope at least one of you people see this:)

Anyway, I got a 0 for my MLL test. woohoo.

And for those who prefer their general knowledge in visual form:

PE. was. super. intensive. DIE! I know the teachers are trying their best to raise our stamina and stuff but that accelerates my God-given lifelong weight loss programme. AAAH! If I sink to a new low of 52kg, I'll definitely visit a doctor ASAP. Had an MLL test after that. Nothing much to write for a 20m question, since I only read 50 pages of my novel out of a possible 248. I'm SO regretting MLL right now after I found a certain someone who did not take Eng Lit in secondary school and now he's passing H2 Lit. Urrggghhhh my life soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo F-ed up.

Despite my life being in shambles right now, I helped a girl (PRIMARY SCH AGE) retrieve her umbrella from the exit of the bus I was in on the way home. There was a loud thud when the umbrella fell, and she couldn't reach for it since it was jammed between the low wall and one of the doors. The other passengers were oblivious to what had happened, especially that fat bitch just beside her. So being the civilised human BEING (take that, Chow!), I went to the exit and helped. My bag was in the way when I stood up so it dislodged the ticket bin out from its hinges! Well that will be the first time I accidentally littered. I tried to contain my laughter when I got off the bus because of that and also thought of what would happen if the girl was...you know....HOT & 17.

Well before you support the general mindset that Singaporeans are an unhelpful lot, I've experienced incidences involving acts of grace and whatever positive that comes along with it. For the past 2 months, I've seen Singaporeans giving up their seat for the deserving ones on the MRT, priority or not, saw a guy chasing after and assisting an elderly man who was barely halfway across the road when the green man stopped blinking, and another guy who stopped a woman's shopping trolley from rolling off while the woman was searching for her ez-link card. Kinda stupid for the bus driver to drive immediately after the woman entered. Tsk tsk tsk, always the rush to drive off a bus stop quickly when on the contrary they'll drive slowly on the roads.

Sabo-ed myself today. Sometimes teachers just don't understand.

Principal's speech was.........GREAT.

Ate at McDonalds to avoid bugs possibly destined to be on my dinner plate.

And to all Haitians out there, may God bless the living and may the dead rest in peace in these troubled times.

IJC's open house was lively and crowded. With IJC students. Haha it's ironic right? There were visitors but they came in tiny hordes. It's like our school's experiencing over-production, quantity of exhibits and events supplied exceeded quantity demanded. Instead, it was like some off-day for the JC2s dedicated to fun before all hell breaks loose in the form of assignments and deadlines.

Well I feel exhausted and pissed from the fact that I had to purchase food outside and a moth ends up in it. Hygiene is key! Oh and for bus drivers, especially SBS Transit ones, most of you suck. You all with the stupid habit of trailing behind vehicles with the 50kmh speed limit. Urrggghhhh.

Woooo! It's been almost a year since I first created this blog and now I reached 5000+ hits! Ok I'm no Lars Tangen (Norway's 4th most popular blogger, he visited once) or Xiaxue but this is a great milestone to me. Thanks to all of you friends of mine, anonymoustards, gays, lesbians, pregnanttards and those of other origins and identity for reading my blog. But as usual, I'm still kinda disappointed with one thing. PLEASE USE THE TAGBOARD!

New P, VP, CT and Econs ST, plus the unfinished homework. Today's definitely screwed up for sure.

UPDATE: Late for school, and Parkinstan's Diseas! Plus, it's only the first day of school and we're already bombarded with assignments:(

PS: I read all the blogs listed under Fladootards every day. So, if you have one of those tracker widgets that display the country and site the reader's from, it should already be filled up by me. THAT DOESN'T MEAN I'M A STALKER, Julianne.

4G's annual gathering 2 days ago was great! Plus the fact that the majority was able to make it despite these busy and trying times made it even more special.

Wondering why I'm taking so long to upload the pics I took on FB? I have no idea. I keep getting the 'upload failed' notice despite the green bar being full. Help me!

It's the last week of the holidays and half of it was sure well spent with my dearest tards (friends). Thanks to Aliff, Fahmi, Nadia, Ashiqin, Tiara, Aisyah, Nat, Pris, Grace, Jolene, Jonathan, Alfi, Moses, Jia Jun and finally Jovy for being part of it. Oh, and I'll say this again, happy birthday Fahmi! Now all I'm left with is the 4G gathering later today......and HOMEWORK. I've been great pals with Mr Procrastination throughout the span of the holidays, with constant advice on dragging my dues properly.

Uploaded my class photos from 1996-2008 on FB and at the same time uncovered some of my long-lost friends. 12 YEARS of changes! Too bad my P6 one is gone:(

To those from IJC, if you're reading this, the new timetables are up by the way. Tuesdays will be total shit!

Nothing much happened. Damn hungry, not sleepy at all. AAHHHH!

edit: watching shaytards and binging on Chipsmore cookies. RIP Beardtard.

5.17pm: Still nothing. Just completed a few FB quizzes. Look at the picture above, it's from one of the quizzes. I'm sure that's a trick question. Pondered for a while about my weight for a while, and I realised this:
June 08: 57kg
Feb 09: 55.2kg
July 09: 54.2kg
Jan 10: 54.0kg
'State the general trend on Fikril's weight and give one demand and supply factor each that contributed to this trend.(2)'
AAAH! You know the answer! I'm losing weight! I'm definitely almost every teenage girl's dream right now...in terms of weight loss of course. Well don't ask me why. You know me, I eat as if the food in front of me is the only batch left in the world, I finish others' leftovers and stuff. Oh and I'm bigger. More muscles I suppose after all the working out I had done. In perspective, I'm a glutton in an anorexic's body. WHY???

My first outing ever on the New Year period was spent with Aliff, Alfi, Hemant, Jonathan, Moses and Shaun, which was great. As the 'saying' goes, 'Merrier the more, triple fun that way'. Ate at the Chicken Rice Shop at Vivo and overdosed on my daily intake of 2 servings of vegetables. I think 8 servings to be exact. Yeah I did eat a lot as usual, finishing everyone else's food but I clearly know that vegetables won't be of much help when it comes to my endless resolution of weighing 60kg by year's end. Slacked around at the deck area and proceeded to Raffles Place after that to view the fireworks. Stared at the office buildings as if I was a lost tourist since I've never stepped on that area before. As expected, it was packed like sardines, at least after we arrived and chose our spot. Seriously, it was like a temporary Little India! Hordes of Banglas and Indians somewhat 'terrorised' the bayfront area we were at. Definitely something to remember for the pockets of Caucasian tourists around us. At least they livened the already-exciting atmosphere up a few notches. Tried to leave Raffles after viewing the fireworks but the human jam leading up to the MRT station's concourse left us with no choice but to hang around for a while. Went to Simpang to have supper later till 3am. It was a very memorable experience, loads of firsts for me and it's only 32 Dec! (you know what I mean)

Ok this is a random addition to this post. Suddenly came up in my mind while slacking around in the afternoon. Just a summary of the 00 decade, 2000-2009 of course, P2-JC1. Quite a huge transition for a 10-year period don't you think? Now, just a sentence for each year.

2000: Abacus sucks.
2001: Aircon classroom!
2002: One of the best school years I've ever had.
2003: Phase 1 of the development of Fikriltard's dirty mind.
2004: Assistant Head Prefect and PSLE!
2005: Handphone and school bag stolen during swimming lesson.
2006: Became a nerd.
2007: Is-a cla?! Oh, the year of failures, plus Britney's loony period.
2008: 2nd best school year, O Levels and JAPAN!!
2009: Refer to yesterday's post.

Weee!^_^
