I don't like bullshit, but I like RedBull - Lil Wayne

Emo songs. No, not those that involve loads and shouting and stupid goth imagery. I'm referring to the ones that make you feel down a little. 2 songs in my playlist truly reflect this: The One That Got Away by Katy Perry and Almost Here by Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem. I can't really explain why I feel sad whenever I hear these. Overly emotional maybe? Or it could be due to the lyrics. They're one of the few songs that the songwriter wants you to pay attention to them. Many songs nowadays focus on the tune and beats, which somewhat explain why house and dance music is slowly infiltrating the mainstream music industry. Hence the shitty lyrics in songs now. Bad grammar, random use of bad words, girls having asses on the dancefloor, putting your hands up etc. It is ironic though that such songs are aplenty in my playlist.
Anyway, it's thousand more hits till this blog hits the big 10K! Thanks for reading:)
