We know Steve Jobs is falling ill. So how do we ensure that he dies a happy man? Ask him to move to Singapore. Well this contradicts with my previous post on foreigners but when it comes to such a person, all is forgiven. Apple products are way to common here, especially iPhones. Even an Android supporter like me has joined this fruity revolution with my iPod classic purchase 3 weeks ago. Jobs should gaze at the constantly-packed Apple retail shops around the country.

This is a prime example where in countries like Singapore, where the rich thrive and people don't really do their research, extensive marketing works. Us geeks know that Apple products are mostly an assembly of internal parts made by external manufacturers such as Samsung (and Sony from this year onwards).......and Apple even dared to sue the former.

Despite this, there's a rumour going around that from September onwards, camera-phones will be allowed into military premises once again. That got my hopes up until I found out that it applies to iPhones only. Urrrggghhhhh damn it. Somehow the SAF developed a software that blocks the imaging capabilities of these phones so they can be allowed in such premises soon. Once this takes into effect, iPhone sales will explode like never before. Hence another reason for Jobs to die a happy man.

But like every move we make, there are consequences. We all know that iPhones have non-removable batteries, so the SAF should expect a surge in electrical usage to charge these 'fruits'. Recruits won't benefit from this since chargers aren't allowed into Tekong.

So what am I trying to say here? I have no idea. Like I've always mentioned, this is where I rant on random stuff. The points I've raised is up to you readers to ponder about:)

One more thing: Since I mentioned Samsung earlier, I'm still waiting for that damn Galaxy S II to be released here!!!!!
