Back from Tekong again. Bah. Once again our free time is limited to a short 25 hours, inclusive of the journey back home. Field camp was an utter mess and a dedicated moment for our superiors to punish us to the verge of tearing up.

Despite all the crap I've been through, I feel 'lucky' to have joined NS in this particular time. That's because my experience here is about 64.7% different from those from other batches I guess. Given the so-called Secrets Act, let me explain this as metaphorically as possible:
1. Beings from Venus are present in our trainings
2. Obstacles are improvised
3. Events that we'll be going through in the future have changed their names.

Ok time to get off the bus now. Yes. I blog in super random places.Urrrgghhh as usual a friend of mine is late again. Oh, in regards to the secrets act, I kinda find it redundant. If the SAF is willing to allow National Geographic to produce a documentary about NS, I'm sure the act isn't really adhered to. Of course this may sound stupid to some because NS is only a small component of what the SAF has to offer, but think about it.Enough about my compulsory duty to my beloved country.

Hmmm.....let's talk about current affairs! The very issue that's bugging me right now. The amount of foreigners we have here have ballooned to such an extent that, in my opinion, our Indians are outnumbered by a certain group of foreigners. It's scary, the fact that a fundamental race in a country is smaller than a foreign group. Who are they you ask? Filipinos. No offence to my Filipino friends, but given that they're not part of this new wave of them entering Singapore (what I mean by this is that my Filipino friends are already Singaporean), but don't you guys think that there are too many of them? Just look at the retail and service industries for example. And they still dare to ask any tanned-looking person whether they're Filipino or not. For you to ask that in a foreign country somewhat lies on borderline apathetic. I think this is what my blog should be like sometimes. An avenue to rant on about stuff that's going on around us instead of solely focusing on my personal life..........
