I don't like bullshit, but I like RedBull - Lil Wayne
Today's a day of rest after hanging out with my 'acquaintances' for the past 4 days. Arrrgggh why must this happen every time my bank account is reloaded. Had a few firsts this week though. Tried the offerings from Max Brenner, a chocolate specialty shop at the Esplanade. The thick Italian hot chocolate and banana split waffle were awesome. Prices may be steep but it was truly worth it. The hot chocolate was so thick that you can double the portion you got with the free plain water they provide. Now that's what I call stretching your dollar (more like the plural form in this case).
The other first: Stepping into Resorts World Sentosa. Went there to watch Voyage de la Vie, thanks to the free tickets Nat acquired. The beginning was confusing and draggy, but as the show went on, it got better. The circus theatrics were attention-gripping. I had a random feeling that most, or not all, of the acrobats were Russian. Overall, if I had paid for the show, it would've been money well-spent.
Speaking of RWS, why must all the signs have only Mandarin translations? It somewhat Chinese-ified the whole atmosphere. It may detract foreigners away from the true image of Singapore, and make China natives too comfortable in the country.....
