I don't like bullshit, but I like RedBull - Lil Wayne
"how do we go about doing this" This phrase, a choice question by many teachers irritates me A LOT. Just "how to do" is enough for us to understand.
Started this week with National Day. I thought I would be ushering for the NDP at first, but it ended up to be an NTUC side-event instead at the Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade. My group of ushers were lucky though because our duty wasn't the usual. We had to unveil a giant Singapore flag from the NTUC tower as the helicopters carrying the other flag passed by. And that's another advantage. We got to see them and the F16s before those at the actual parade. Holding the flag down was tough though, given that the ropes which secured it flat to the building were less than a centimetre thick. Walked around the event area with Aliff and we got to see the fireworks up close. After the whole event we had to bring the flag back into the office and fold THE WHOLE THING! The very factor that did not justify our $40 'allowance', as they called it. At least during the process we managed to peep at a Caucasian couple who was dancing and kissing around in their apartment in The Sail, just opposite the NTUC tower:) It was a great National Day indeed.
15 more minutes till I can eat again. Fasting today wasn't really worth it since I slept from 6am to 5pm -_-
